Quote of the day and other ramblings

Didn't get it going today. I went to bed with a lot on my mind and thought the solution was to be found on the cool side of my pillow. Needless to say I will be running tonight. The answer is out there!

My point has been to make every attempt to see my situations, issues and problems from God's point of view. When I attempted to see it from His eye, I concluded this one thing. I am a big baby. I need to stop complaining about what I want to happen or what isn't happening fast enough for me and realize that I have a lot going in the right direction. It's more than just a be thankful understanding. We ought always be thankful. However, I think if we step back and attempt to see our issue from His vantage I think we can find solutions.

Though things might not be going exactly as I scripted, they are going well and better than I planned. What's needed is a major shift in perspective and outlook. Sadly, it's very easy to look ahead of us and see the PROBLEM or whatever is right in front of us. But we need to start looking down from the 30,000 view and see how our problem is really just a speed bump on a long, long journey.

Tonight on my run I am going to flesh this out more and gain an understanding of how I need to change my perspective to see things differently. I'll report back.
